DePauw University in Greencastle, IN purchased the StratoSAT Complete Flight System and started a program in the Physics & Astronomy Department called Balloon Assisted Stratospheric Experiments (BASE). The students and professors of BASE have been working on cosmic ray detectors, solar experiments, and imaging payloads.
